Emotional Approach of the site: During several visits of the site of the ancient and ruined Renault Factory, emotional and significant elements were pictured. Time, weather and destruction worked on the different surfaces and left marks. The skinof walls and ceilings peals off showing the different layers they were made of. The site is a play of all kind of shapes, materials, structures layers and light effects.

Conceptual Architecture, introduction of the digital discipline

This project is an endeavour to regenerate the intrinsic qualities of Sky: weightlessness, spacelessness, timelessness, dislocation, soft and sensuous light in motion, and also our concepts: different textures and materials, horizontal and vertical layers (regular at the beginning then distorted by hidden forces induced by orbits). Thus this Experimental Observatory consists of three hovering pots rotating around the black hole, as well as vertical layers wrapping it. This latter is the climax of the adventure when, after meandering in darkeness, through soft gradient of light, visitors end up by standing in front of that threshold, being overwhelmed by mystic light.
